German pension authority requests more documents: Prepare a clear response
Organise a DRV request for missing evidence, its deadline and required attachments before preparing your response.
A request for additional documents asks for further information or evidence. Identify exactly what is requested and the stated deadline. The request alone is neither a pension refusal nor an approval.
Turn the letter into an action list
Record the sender, date, subject, deadline and every requested attachment separately. Mark each item as available, to obtain or requiring clarification. Keep earlier submissions and acknowledgements separately. This creates a useful starting point for a conversation and prevents an important request from disappearing in a large stack of copies.
Avoid resubmitting everything without a reason
The DRV eAntrag guidance explains that evidence already supplied and periods already recorded do not need to be proven again. Copies are generally used unless originals or certified copies are expressly requested. Follow the specific request in your own case. Before paying for translation, certification or original-document postage, clarify what format the receiving institution actually needs.
If an attachment is not available yet
Record where you requested it and any acknowledgement received. Contact the responsible institution before the deadline to clarify how to handle the missing item. An enquiry to İRİM does not extend an official deadline; requesting extra time from the authority is not the same as receiving an extension. A refusal decision or appeal deadline calls for qualified legal advice. Our role is limited to agreed document organisation and form preparation.

Not automatically. The actual wording and type of document matter. A formal decision with appeal information requires separate attention.
Should I send all originals just in case?
No. Follow the requested format and official submission route. Send originals only when they are actually requested.
Does the €799 package cover any old authority letter?
No. Package 3 covers defined support for the same commissioned application. Existing or different cases require a separately agreed scope.
