What is T/A 11?

It can be relevant for certain people with German statutory health insurance under the Germany–Türkiye social security agreement. The German health fund issues it. Ask your own fund about eligibility.

What is YUPASS?

According to the German Foreign Office guidance, SGK may issue a YUPASS number on presentation of T/A 11 and identification. Conditions and deadlines apply to local billing; confirm current details with SGK.

Are private hospital bills always covered?

No. Private hospitals may issue additional invoices and coverage disputes can arise. Clarify the billing route with the clinic, SGK and insurer.

What if I receive a bill?
